The Living Word Ministry, C.O.G.I.C. was founded in 1992 by Pastor Thomas B. Campbell Jr. Pastor Campbell has been called and Ordained by God to lead and empower the body of Christ into social and economic freedom, through biblical principles in every aspect of their lives.
Pastor Campbell serves not only the Senior Pastor of Living Word, but he is also the Superintendent of 2nd Jurisdiction of the Virginia Beach District C.O.G.I.C. and various other boards and organizations through out the Tidewater Community. A successful Entrepreneur, He is founder and owner of Thomas B. Campbell & Associates, which helps people in many facets of life. Pastor Campbell was born and raised in Norfolk, VA and now resides in Virginia Beach, he is married to the former Mildred Leah Whitfield and together they have two children Chelsea and Kyrus.
Pastor Campbell attended Norfolk State University where he received his Bachelor of Music Degree, Virginia Union School of Divinity where he received his Master of Divinity Degree.
He also served 10 years as Chaplin in The United State Army Reserve. Pastor Campbell is a devoted Father, Husband, Cultivator, Counselor, and Visionary. He is truly a God Fearing Man, and a Fisher of Men!
